Gaming for a good cause

We have partnered with several charities to raise money for a good cause, including Gamers Outreach, the nonprofit that brings gaming kiosks and play to kids in children's hospitals. In March 2024, six of us from The Academy RP went live for four hours with a $25,000 goal. You blew past it, and together we raised more than $100,000.

My share funded five kiosks for Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, so kids right here in Delaware can play while they get care. The BRG community stepped up again for GHOST's 24-hour For the Kids stream, and there is nothing better than the way TARP shows up and makes a difference at the Gamers Outreach events.

Across every BRG fundraiser, this community has raised $57,470 for Gamers Outreach and $18,035 for the American Heart Association.

Get to know Bobby

The man behind the mic

BobbyRayGray is a GTA V roleplay streamer on The Academy RolePlay, where he goes live to bring the whole crew along for the ride.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Bobby moved to the Northeast for work, where he met his wife. Together they have two boys, AJ and Luke, and now call Delaware home. The boys are regular guest stars on stream, and family is at the heart of everything he does.

Bobby will be the first to tell you how lucky he is to have a community like TARP. The people who show up in chat, in the Discord and at charity events are the reason the channel exists, and together they turn good times on stream into real help for people off it.
